Kirat was set up in the summer of 2012 by a small group of graduates and professionals with the aim to bridge the gap between university and post university life. A robust alumni network was much needed that represented the Sikh community, one that would strengthen communication between alumni and universities as well as leveling us with other Alumni groups. Today the Kirat.info project is run by volunteers from the Sikh Education Council.
